We are open from 6:00 a.m.
to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, year around.
High
Quality Staff:
A nurturing environment, an inventive curriculum,
and a loving staff of quality care givers means added security, stimulation and
warmth for our children--and piece of mind for us when we can’t be with them.
The Noel Group understands the need for high-quality childcare,
so we’ve created the Noel Learning Center for the children in our
community. Our desire for excellence inspires our efforts to extend beyond each
child to their entire family—our doors are always open for visits with the
children from mom, dad, grandma or big brother. Led by a mentoring
director, our primary caregiving teams are comprised of individuals who
specialize in early childhood education and developmentally appropriate
programming.
Providing funding for our caregivers to attend
workshops is one way the Noel Learning Center ensures continuing education in
the field of early childhood education; monthly staff training is another. An
onsite staff resource room where content specific reading materials and videos
can be obtained also proves the Noel Learning Center intends to exceed annual
state educational requirements.
Furthermore, all employees must successfully complete
a drug test and a thorough criminal background check.
Learning
Environment:
Customizing care and activities that interest and comfort
children while helping them continually learn and grow within a welcoming, safe
environment is an integral element of our philosophy. Our curriculum is our
plan of action for interaction between your children, families and our primary
care team. We respect cultural diversity and the influences each culture has on
shaping our children, our communities and our world.
Child care is a far cry from just providing the
obvious, so we’ve selected The Creative Curriculum to encompass an interesting
blend of activities that captivate, stimulate and educate all children
according to their age and individual stage of development. Designed to elevate
growth in the cognitive, social, emotional and physical areas of development,
our curriculum is developmentally appropriate based on the position statement
from the National Association for the Education of Young Children.
At the Noel Learning Center, children’s immediate interests
direct the flow of activities within an environment that gives specialized care
for special needs. For example, after reading "The Rainbow Fish," the
children’s interests carry over to the fish tank. Watching tropical fish gives
children the opportunity to learn about different movements, shapes, sizes and
textures. But Tommy is visually impaired. Does that mean he’ll miss out?
Absolutely not, because he’ll explore the hands-on fish mobile made especially
for him by our staff.
Family
Opportunities and Resources:
The Noel Learning Center understands the
importance of active family participation in all areas of our care, and,
therefore, provides parents with various means to get involved.
• Visits: We encourage family
members to visit any day, any time.
• Family Diversity: The
continuation of family traditions is celebrated at the Noel Learning Center
because embracing diversity is so important to us. Therefore, we encourage
parents to get involved and share the spirit of their heritage by planning
activities for children and families at the center.

secure Internet access, parents can view their child in their classroom from
their computers at work.
• Family Resource Library: This area,

Health,
Safety, and Security:
At the Noel Learning Center, we believe that every
child’s health and safety are an important piece of their overall experience. Children
learn best when they are in an environment where they trust their provider and
feel safe. Our childcare providers are trained to provide this type of
environment.
Parents can feel confident about leaving their children
at the Noel Learning Center. We have a full security system in place that
allows access to only those individuals authorized. In addition, a receptionist
is located at the front entrance of the building.
